About Me

Hi everyone!  I have been a nurse since 1996 when I graduated with an ADN.  Since, I have completed the BSN program with University of Houston-Victoria and will graduate this December with an MSN.  I am currently a director of a medical and oncology unit, but plan to pursue a higher administrative position.  I am especially interested in quality outcomes and Joint Commission standards.  I have enjoyed this semester and had no idea how to create a wiki or a blog until now.

    I had no idea how to wiki or blog until now either. It has been a real learning experience and I must say I have enjoyed it.

    I have learned much this semester regarding education. I attended a speech at my sons school regarding technology and education, and found myself thinking about the teaching technique the speaker was utilizing. It was story-telling, and very effective.
